Built around Polytex Plus Orange 150-inch Shade / Mesh Fabric, this oversized shade sail mesh is designed for shade structures, small-scale architectural shade sails, and smaller installations up to 25 feet. Made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), it combines monofilament and tape yarns in a Raschel Knit construction that creates an open knit mesh texture with a high strength-to-weight ratio. The knit helps resist tearing or fraying if cut or pierced, while providing UVA and UVB protection greater than 95% for overhead shade applications. Its generous 150-inch width is especially useful when broader cuts are needed for wide shade sail and shade structure layouts, giving more coverage from a single span of mesh for by-the-yard ordering.
