Sunbrella Fabric Samples
We offer Sunbrella samples as a service for our customers to be sure that when you order, you will know exactly what fabric you will be receiving.
We process sample swatch orders as a courtesy. There is a limit of 1 sample per fabric pattern, per customer, and a limit of 10 free samples per order, with a total of 20 free samples annually.
Sample swatch availability changes frequently, and samples may become out of stock once a fabric has been slated to be “eventually discontinued” by the manufacturer. Most Sunbrella samples are stocked in-house and are provided free or with a nominal processing fee.
Designer or specialty fabric samples are placed on your behalf, directly with the fabric mill, and they incur a small sample cost in addition to the processing fee. In the event a designer sample cannot be fulfilled, we will refund the cost of the order. Additionally, we are happy to research and provide you with suitable alternatives.
Free Sunbrella Samples
Easiest way to find the free Sunbrella sample:
- Free Sunbrella samples are a courtesy and are limited to 10 samples per customer.
- Samples ship USPS.
- Fabric sample sizes depend on the type of fabric. Solids are 4 x 4, Stripes are 2 x 8 to show the colors or pattern repeat when possible, and Patterns are 4 x 8 to show the colors and pattern repeat when possible.
- Typically, samples arrive in 7-10 business days. Please be patient, it is well worth the wait.
- If a sample cut is not available, you will receive store credit for a replacement. Refunds are not given for processing a fee.
Designer or Specialty Fabric Samples
While we make every effort to accurately represent the product design, color, and pattern size, please be aware that the characteristics you see may be different due to variations in computer monitors. We highly recommend that you order a sample cut to make sure the designer fabric is the right choice for your project.
Fabric sample sizes will vary depending on the collection but fall within our free sample sizing. If you require a larger size, please contact us before placing your order.
Note: Our designer or specialty fabric samples will arrive directly from the manufacturer and may come in multiple shipments.
Tip: If the fabric you select has a large repeat, consider purchasing one full yard as a sample so that the entire repeat is shown.
Sunbrella Sample Packs
Sometimes it is hard to get started in deciding which Sunbrella fabric sample to order. We have taken many of the most requested, plus our favorites, and combined them into easy-to-order sample packs. We do charge a small cost for these products, but they are very easy to order and make your fabric selections simpler.
