The 300 denier fabric has a clear back coat and soft underside, giving it a pliable feel for covers that need to fold, handle, and store cleanly. It is sold by the yard, 64 inches wide, and weighs 6.5 ounces per square yard. The main fit is boat covers and other marine covers, with some shade use where a lighter cover fabric makes sense. Marlen lists strength, tear and abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, UV and mildew resistance, high water repellency, and a 3-year warranty for Odyssey. That helps keep marine-cover planning focused and practical.
