All orders of Sunbrella Rain are final and cannot be returned and we will not exchange for a standard fabric once shipped.
Sunbrella RAIN is intended for cushions, and we have no knowledge of Sunbrella testing it for any other application.
Sunbrella rain manufacturing requires special sewing techniques, including the use of a special, water swelling thread, not available to the retail market. We completed RAIN certification with Glen Raven, the makers of Sunbrella in 2016. We highly recommend that you have your RAIN cushions produced by us or another certified manufacturer.
By purchasing Rain you acknowledge that all Sunbrella RAIN fabrics are waterproof, but the sewing process is not.
Rain fabrics require care when fabricating to remain moisture and water repellent. All warranties of Rain fabrics are governed by Sunbrella, and they can be of assistance with the fabricating techniques used with Rain.
Please note when ordering samples of this product, there is no color variation between standard Sunbrella fabric and RAIN Sunbrella fabric. The only difference is the waterproof coating, which is added to the underside of the fabric, hence making it RAIN.
